Special Journal - Helping a Friend in Need

Hi there,


The first journal of what is emerging as a interesting - if somewhat challenging year - lives up to its times. In this, after some discussion, I would very much like to circulate concern and hopefully solicit some help for a remarkable artist and friend who has encountered something of a rather big problem.


This will require some brisk explanation, though I hope that it affords the necessary insight.


Recently, the veteran artist returned to our community after a hiatus of some months. During this interval, they encountered and struggled with some trying times in their life; a difficult challenge from which they emerged and have now returned to the community.


Unfortunately, this progress is impeded by a new, difficult challenge in the shape of the expenses incurred during this time - expenses which are considerable and are posing something of a difficult knot to untangle as they try to get on with life.


To this end, and after some discussion, the artist has opened commissions again to try and absorb some of this pressure on their finances, though this is an incremental measure. More so, they have opened a "Go Fund Me" campaign which hopes to raise enough to cover these costs as soon as possible.


In regards to commissions, I must heartily say that they are a rich and vivid talent; someone with whom I have worked in the past and who has produced some of the most compelling work, on assorted projects, it was my pleasure to see. This can be seen in the characters of other community member's too, as with and other works as with , and a good few others as well.


A diligent, insightful and passionate artist, it has been my pleasure to work with them in the past; projects made all the better through their candor and integrity as they evolved what was beneath their pen, whatever it might be. It is to this end that I sincerely and completely vouch for their character and the necessity of their needs, in regards to their current problem. In this respect, I would very much like to promote their cause by suggesting not only consulting this artist for commissions at very competitive prices, but also their "Go Fund Me" campaign - links to both being found below, for your convenience.

In closing, I would again say that this is a very worthy cause for the community to consider and hope that the coming months will find the artist back on their feet and feeling much better disposed, after their recent trials.
